Glycolysis is a revisiting puzzle, originally presented in 2008 as Puzzle 72: Glycolysis.

The recent versions of this puzzle use "citric acid cycle" in the title in place of "glycolysis".

Glycolysis refers to the process of metabolizing glucose. This small protein is referred to as the "E3-binding domain of the dihydrolipoamide succinyltransferase core from the 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase multienzyme complex of Escherichia coli".
