Foldit Newsletters were issued on a weekly basis, starting in July 2020, and running until September 2022. The newsletters were written by joshmiller, also known as "Dev Josh", one or just Josh, of the Foldit developers.
The newsletters typically discussed the previous week's puzzles, and often contain snapshots of player designs. Recipes, folding strategies, and updates to the game were also frequent topics.
Sections like "Art of the Week" featured visually striking designs which are unlikely to fold up in real life.
See Recipe of the Week for featured recipes.
The newletters are listed below. All the newsletters are posted on the same discussion thread, https://fold.it/forum/discussion/foldit-newsletters. The links below should find the right newsletter, but it's always possible that you'll need to scroll a bit to reach the right spot.
